The American news
broadcaster CNN has provided a
portal on Rabin and it makes a good place to start your Internet research.
The links are categorized as follows:
 |
The funeral |
 |
The assassination |
 |
World Reaction |
 |
Impact |
|
More detailed information on the life and work
of Rabin is available under all the headings above. The "Impact" link,
for instance, takes visitors to several images that illustrate well the Middle
East conflict.

The Yitzhak Rabin Center for Israel Studies is
based in Tel Aviv. It deals with research and scientific classification of
Rabin's actions. The Rabin Center's comprehensive website is sub-divided into
several categories - we found the following two particularly interesting:
 |
 | His Life and Times |
 | The Assassination |
|
The "His Life and Times" category,
for instance, offers an excellent photo collection that documents Rabin's entire
life. There is also a collection of press articles that provide a valuable
insight into the history of the state of Israel.

Israelnetz
offers comprehensive information on Israel. Visitors to the homepage can
use the search feature or try their luck with one of the tips. The
creators of the site have put together a comprehensive link list that
makes this site somewhat of an authority on the subject. |
http://jewishhistory.huji.ac.il/
The University
of Jerusalem has put together a very comprehensive link list
on the subject of Israel and Judaism. Those looking for further
information on religious subjects will find what they are looking for
here. The map collection is also extremely interesting. |

http://www.israel-mfa.gov.il/mfa/home.asp
The Israeli
Foreign Office website offers a great deal of current
information and background stories. This website is worthwhile, even if
it does provide a somewhat one-sided view of the conflict in the Middle
East. |
http://www.cprs-palestine.org/
The Center for Palestine Research and Studies
publishes work on the political landscape of the autonomous areas and
Israel. This site is well structured and offers comprehensive, if
somewhat biased information. |
