Further
study: working with stories involving pictures
Pictures
animate individuals to describe personal conflicting events. Situations are
interpreted and potential forms of action formulated here in relation. Stories
involving pictures serve to confront problematic and conflicting situations and
allow various points of view, situative interpretations and alternatives for
action to be clarified.
Approach
Formulate
a brief text and heading for each picture in individual and group work. |
Present
the results to the class. |
Hang
the stories on the wall like in an art gallery, and try to identify
similarities and differences. |
Potential
solutions are identified and written down. |
'Questions'
can be asked of the pictures. |
Key
scenes can be acted out in role-playing.
Questions to be Asked
What is
this story about? |
What
apparent motives do the people in the story have for their actions?
What is
important for reactions in conflicting situations? |
What
should (could) I orient myself to? |
What
should the goal of behaviour be? |
Are
there any right or wrong ways of behaving? How can these be recognised?
How can they be measured? |
What
roles do the other people play? |
Do you
know of any similar situations? |
How
would I act in a situation like this if it were real?
